Welcome to Dorset Horse Logging

We specialise in felling and low impact timber extraction using heavy horses. We also offer other services such as bracken rolling and land management.

Horses are the ideal solution when working on wet and steep ground, when access is limited and on sensitive sites, causing minimal impact to the woodland floor.

We have up to date felling tickets and first aid certificates and have recently been accepted onto the British Horse Loggers Approved Contractors register, meaning that we are recognised as one of the leading Horse Logging businesses in the UK.

Dorset Horse Logging are based in Corfe Castle in the county of Dorset, we are happy to travel within a 5 hour radius.  Please see the map below for a rough guideline.
